Getting ready for submission of the PhD dissertation– screening and avoiding plagiarism In-Person

This workshop is designed to help PhD fellows at Roskilde University prepare for a responsible and successful submission of their doctoral dissertation. The workshop provides a ‘brush-up’ on responsible research practice and how to avoid plagiarism. Furthermore, the workshop provides in-depth knowledge of the formal screening process of the draft dissertation, and how to interpret the results. Finally, the workshop offers the participants the opportunity to submit part of their dissertation for an optional duplicate text screening.

The workshop complements the mandatory PhD course “Research Ethics and Responsible Conduct of Re-search” at Roskilde University.

  • Understand how to interpret the results of iThenticats’s screening for duplicate text
